Round One of ‘Young Glory’ Ad Battle is in the Books

By Kiran Aditham

Just though we’d give you an update on what’s happening with the “Young Glory” event, which we first covered when it launched at the beginning of October and features the tagline, “8 Months. 8 Briefs. 8 Big Name Judges.” Well folks, the results for the Professional portion are in for month one of the 30-and-under ad competition (remember, both students and pros can take part), which was judged by AKQA CCO Rei Inamoto. Apparently, Inamoto’s a hard person to please as no Gold prize was awarded for his October brief, which was “Keep the World Cool.”

Still, at least there was Silver and Bronze to be had and the prize for the former went to Robert Fraze, who’s been an art director at Deutsch New York since January. His BMW “Rash Responsibility” idea can be seen above while Francisco Chatimsky & Mafalda Quintela’s Professional Bronze-winning work is below. Check out full Pro October results here. As we mentioned before, November’s Young Glory judge is OgilvyOne India ECD Graham Kelly.
