Roddy Resurfaces at Riney

By Kiran Aditham

AdAge has discovered the whereabouts of Kevin Roddy, who as we know resigned from his CCO post at BBH New York last fall. Well, the creative exec has now headed west to serve as chairman/CCO at Publicis & Hal Riney. In doing so, Roddy takes over for Roger Camp, who eventually started his own SF shop called Camp + King with former Riney cohort/ex-Euro RSCG Chicago co-president Jamie King earlier this year. You can read the full interview with Roddy here.

Update: To add some color, Roddy will partner with Publicis/Riney CEO Kristi VandenBosch in leading both Riney and Publicis Modem, San Francisco.  The two Publicis agencies will remain separate brands, but will administratively report to VandenBosch and Roddy. In a statement, the former says of the latter, “Kevin is the creative partner every CEO dreams of. And importantly, he is exactly the kind of creative talent that a brand with a legacy as strong as Riney deserves.  Our clients are going to feel the impact of his arrival, immediately. I’m proud he’s joining Riney, and I know we’re going to do some amazing things together.”
