Rethink Partner/CD Harrison Set to Go Solo

By Kiran Aditham

Let us remain up north for a second and tell you that after spending the last eight-plus years at Toronto/Vancouver-based agency Rethink, Jeff Harrison is splitting to start up his own yet-to-be-named studio. Harrison, who currently serves as partner/group creative director at Rethink, will stay on, though, until Feb. 1 and from the looks of it, his departure is an amicable one. He says, ““I’m leaving on really good terms with Rethink. It’s a great agency full of smart people and I’m very proud to have had a hand in helping to build it. I’m making this move because it’s always been my career goal, I felt like it was time to take on a new challenge.”

The “new challenge” he speaks of will be revealed in due time, but during his tenure at the 13-year-old Rethink, Harrison, who’s based in Vancouver, worked with clients including Molson (who can forget this welcoming shot?) Air Canada, McDonald’s and Bell.
