We figured this Red Lobster business would be said and done by week’s end, but alas, sources familiar with the matter tell us, “They came…they saw [Grey]…an 8am meeting…and then they went to Saatchi for a noon mtg. Have a feeling they will go back to Florida HQ and discuss next week.” So, expect a decision, which probably isn’t as earth-shaking as LeBron’s, by next week…maybe. Who will parent company Darden, which bills itself as the world’s largest full-service restaurant company, choose? We’ll just roll out a poll and see who you think will succeed.
