RAPP Nabs Gerber’s Digital Business

Sources familiar with the matter confirm that after a review which was completed last week, RAPP New York has been awarded digital creative duties for baby food/products brand Gerber, which Nestle bought from Novartis for $5.5 billion in cash back in 2007.

Anyhow, we’ve been told that RAPP beat out the likes of Draftfcb (currently Gerber’s creative AOR) and Digitas among others for the Gerber digital business, which runs across the brand and includes social and mobile components. The RFI for Gerber’s digital account went out in July and RAPP finished up its RFP presentation in early October. The Gerber digital account was previously handled by Meredith.
