Publicis London appointed Dave Monk as executive creative director, taking over for Andy Bird, who will become chief creative officer for Publicis New York. In the role, Monk will partner with Publicis London CEO Karen Buchanan and focus on leading the agency’s creative department while overseeing work for the agency’s roster of clients, including P&G, Nestlé, UBS,  Renault and Tourism Ireland.

Monk arrives from Grey London, where he served as deputy executive creative director for the past two years, originally joining Grey as a creative director in 2010. Prior to joining Grey, Monk spent eleven years with BBH London, the last two serving as creative director.

“Dave will be a critical part of the group agency creative leadership team within Publicis UK,” said Publicis Worldwide U.K. CEO, vice president of Western Europe Guy Wieynk told LBB. “He also brings a fantastic experience, a reputation for nurturing young talent, an endless energy and a sense of humour, which are pivotal to the culture Publicis UK is building within 82 Baker Street.”
