It looks like Pierre Lipton needs to update his website, which includes the message, “I am currently (and happily) employed at BBDO-NY.”
Sources familiar with the matter have confirmed that the VP/CD has resigned from his post after 2 1/2 years at the agency. Spies are alleging that Lipton is headed to AKQA to work on Xbox, though we’re still waiting for confirmation/denial from said agency. Before joining BBDO New York, Lipton spent two years as an ACD/CW at Chiat NY after holding down copywriter jobs at both Fallon and McCann Erickson.

While at BBDO, Lipton served as CD on projects including AT&T’s “Up & Up” and a print campaign for Smart Car.
