Peter DeNunzio Steps Down at DraftFCB, Sandy Kolkey Steps Up

By Matt Van Hoven

Following word that Peter DeNunzio had been demoted, DraftFCB announced today that the president of the New York office is actually stepping down effective immediately. DeNunzio has held the position since 2006, and is replaced by DraftFCB Chicago EVP/Group Management Director Sandy Kolkey (pictured).

In Chicago Kolkey managed the Boeing, Dow, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Chicago Cubs and others. His career began at Leo Burnett in 1983, and after 14 years there he moved on. He’s handled myriad accounts and holds a Masters in marketing from Northwestern University.

A statement from the agency says this change follows the shop’s decision to “adopt a new regional structure in North America and more closely align its resources and talent in New York, Chicago, the West Coast and Canada.”
