Partners and Napier Round Up Posse for Kodak Campaign

By Michael Musco

Partners and Napier call upon big willy animation studio Nathan Love and collaborators/directors Nick Carbonaro and Ben Leavit (aka Nick&Ben) and Hopr to pull off this over-dramatized, cross-media “Digital Without Compromise” campaign kicking off this week for Kodak.

The strategy is to evoke the tension present in the industry regarding the changes necessary for success, and then position Kodak as a partner and solution provider that understands those needs, which seems like a valid, simple idea. But we can’t hate on the direction or the animation though; it looks great.

In a statement, Partners and Napier creative director Jeremy Schwartz says, “Nathan Love understood what we were trying to achieve in our treatment from the very first meeting, the process was extremely collaborative. Their ability to realize our vision for the project and pour it onto the screen was astounding. We couldn’t have asked for a more seamless execution.”
