They might have made some awful commercials as of late but State Farm redeems itself by somehow being involved with this super-cool video from OK Go for their song “This Too Shall Pass”. Singer Damien Kulash (who interestingly enough chided his own record label over their YouTube ignorance recently) and his bandmates are basically the supporting cast for the Rube Goldberg-esque visuals that unfold.
According to the YouTube page, the “machine” was built by the band itself and Synn Labs over the course of several months. Maybe State Farm is now making a play for branded entertainment.
