By Kiran Aditham

Economical home furnishing brand IKEA awarded its integrated communications account to Ogilvy and its Hispanic agency partner *S,C, P,F. According to the announce, Ogilvy beat out fellow NY agencies Berlin Cameron United, Euro RSCG and The Kaplan Thaler Group in the review process, which was managed by Boston-based Pile & Company. Last month we reported that incumbent Deutsch withdrew from the review.

In a statement, Ogilvy North America Chairman/CEO John Seifert says, “IKEA is one of the world’s great companies and brands. We could not be more honored and thrilled to partner with them in growing their business to its full potential in the U.S.”
