Ogilvy Veteran Cristina ‘Tin’ Sanchez Joins DigitasLBi as Group Creative Director

Digitas hired Cristina “Tin” Sanchez as senior vice president, group creative director for the New York region.

Sanchez will lead the agency’s AstraZeneca account and report to executive vice president, executive creative director, New York and Atlanta Atit Shah.

“Tin is a true creative force, having led highly recognized, awarded, and effective work across a diverse range of accounts,” Shah said in a statement. “As we look to deepen our storytelling abilities and invent new brand experiences for our clients, Tin is a thrilling addition to the New York leadership team.”

Sanchez joins the agency from Ogilvy London, where she spent the last year and a half as group creative director on Dove. Prior to that she held executive creative director positions with BBDO Guerrero Manila in the Philippines and FCB Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

While she was with BBDO Guerrero Manila, the agency’s “Labels for Women” spot for Pantene went viral, with some 60 million views over the course of three months, and went on to win a Cannes Cyber Lions. Facebook’s Sheryl Sandberg was a big fan.
