Norm Yustin Replaces King at Euro RSCG Chicago

By Michael Musco

After spending nearly two years as the global CMO for teen fashion accessory chain, Claire’s, Norm Yustin is heading back to the agency side and assuming the role of president at Euro RSCG Chicago, which is riding high off of new business wins including Sprint’s mobile marketing and Groupon.

Though he’s basically worked on the client since joining Macy’s North as chief marketing officer in early 2007, Yustin racked up plenty of agency experience beforehand, beginning as an account exec at Ogilvy Toronto in the early 90’s, then rising up the ranks and eventually becoming SVP, worldwide account director at Leo Burnett, serving as global brand director at Fallon and then taking on a CMO role at Campbell Mithun.

During this time, Yustin’s work was recognized with eight Effie’s, fourteen Cannes Lions, including a Gold Lion for media, Kelly Awards, Clio Awards, and honors at the One Show.

In taking the president post, Yustin replaces Jamie King, who left Publicis & Hal Riney almost two years ago for Euro but is now “going to be working on an exciting Havas venture,” though the agency won’t disclose what this is at this point.
