If you were hoping Mr. Monopoly sounded a bit like Sir Ian McKellen, then you will be quite disappointed upon viewing Olson’s latest spot for the Minnesota State Lottery featuring the original man in black.
Is there a more deserving state for Mr. Monopoly’s cash than Minnesota, which desperately needs the income to finally replace the worst stadium ever with a roof that collapses under the weight of snow? In part one of Mr. Monopoly’s generous philanthropic gesture, the old CGI guy becomes surprised when lottery players seem to win every second. In part deux, Mr. Monopoly gets quite worried when his treasures start getting repossessed until part three when he teeters on the brink of a mental breakdown. Really, these spots only make me want to see Mr. Monopoly and The General go toe to toe in Celebrity CGI Pitchmen Boxing. Watch the rest of the trilogy after the jump.
