-New York-based creative shop Code and Theory has appointed Michael Martin, who’s worked in its hometown hub since 2010 and was named partner in 2011, as general manager of its San Francisco office.

-Well, isn’t this interesting. Microsoft is now reportedly looking for a “holding agency solution” for its $1.3 billion cross-media ad account. Hmm, maybe the tips from this week are aligned for a reason, we’ll keep you posted. link

-22squared alum Tracy YoungLincoln has joined fellow Atlanta-based operation Moxie Interactive as the new VP/analytics.
