-Former Warner Bros. Online creative director Anette Hughes has joined L.A.-based digital agency AvatarLabs as CD.

-Pepperidge Farm’s Milano cookies line has returned to TV advertising after a decade-long hiatus with the help of Y&R New York (above).

-Mike Albert, whose ad career includes stints at the likes of Leo Burnett and Campbell-Ewald, has joined the roster of Portland, OR’s Modus Operandi as Detroit-based EP to help grow its Midwest presence.

-Venice, CA-based production company Carbo Films has signed filmmaker Belén Gayán for U.S. commercial representation.

-IDG TechNetwork, IDG’s online advertising network for technology marketers and agencies, is inviting both sectors to participate in its first-ever “March Adness” contest, which includes the iPad Mini as prizes. Go here to take part if interested.

-Sources confirm that AKQA will bring on Bryan Moss as an ACD its Atlanta office come April.  Moss currently serves in the same role at JWT Atlanta on the Marines account. We’ve been told it’s all on good terms.
