-WPP/GroupM agency Maxus has appointed Lori Greene to the new role of content director for North America.

-Indianapolis-based agency Young & Laramore has welcomed a few new folks aboard including Rachel Gotthelf, Danna Roen and Mitchell Brown. Gotthelf, who joins Y&L as digital supervisor, previously worked at iProspect in Boston. Roen and Brown are relatively new to the agency world and join Y&L as assistant media buyer and designer, respectively.

-The IAB was busy this weekend as its board of directors not only elected Ziff Davis CEO Vivek Shah as its new chairman, but the organization has also published an open letter from publishers to advertisers on “making mobile work.” link

-Farmington Hills, MI-based agency Duffey Petrosky has welcomed McCann/MRM alum Carrie Sweeney as the new account director for its Ally Auto biz.
