-Talent management consultancy 24 Seven has released its 4th Annual Salary and Job Satisfaction survey results. Among other takeaways, median salary for the marketing industry rose to $77,000 in 2013 compared to 2012’s reported $73,000. link

-San Francisco-based data-driven digital agency Extractable was awarded a long-term partnership with financial services firm, The Newport Group. As a result, Extractable will continue handling UX, design and strategy among other responsibilities.

-GSD&M has welcomed RPA alum Tom Hamling and former W+K strategist Lee Sunga as creative director and senior strategist, respectively. The former will help lead creative on Goodyear and work on other accounts including Southwest and L.L. Bean while the latter joins GSD&M’s Walgreens strategy team.

-Denver-based shop Everything Chocolate has collaborated on a new video/infographic for Online Clock, which as you may gather is designed to be an internet-based alarm clock (above, infographic here).
