Now that New Balance has sent its love letter to America, the shoe brand is moving on to more visually stimulating fare with this new ad dubbed “Running Green.” The spot was shot in five nights on the streets of NYC by animator-turned-director Doug Purver , who worked alongside VFX studio Suspect to show off these seemingly miraculous New Balance 509 sneakers that can make flowers and plants come to life. Meanwhile, I’m just wishing my NBs’ soles last more than three months.
