McCann Erickson NY is launching a tongue-in-cheek campaign covering all the bases entitled, “Build Your Own Brand,” to promote the Advertising Club of New York. It’s a nice twist by the Ad Club promoting themselves since they’re mission is primarily to help ad agencies, media companies and communication professionals do the same. Call it a double entendre if you will.
Get ready to see plenty of the butterscotch orange color scheme starting this coming Monday during Advertising Week as there will not only be social media campaigns, banners and “Build” events, but posters displayed in ad agency and media company lobbies along with cocktail napkins, notebooks, a modified NYC subway map, and a branded NYC coffee cart (examples after the jump) outside the Paley Center . If coffee, donuts and free advice from ad execs seems tempting, a trip to the cart may not be such a wasted effort.
