McCann Assembles Global Strategic Leadership Team

McCann Worldgroup CEO Nick Brien has announced the creation of a new global strategic leadership team that will be comprised of a few current, top-level execs within the IPG agency’s network.

These folks include McCann Worldgroup CSO Eric Einhorn, who will remain in his post; Worldgroup EMEA chief strategist /global director of strategic solutions Lee Daley, who will now take on the CSO role at McCann Erickson Worldwide; and Daryl Lee, who joins from Universal McCann to assume the new position of chief integration architect at Worldgroup.

While Einhorn’s main duties will be to lead a new corporate planning function focusing heavily on emerging markets and emerging brands, Lee is responsible for building and leading the strategic planning function across the Worldgroup companies and Daley will work closely with the McCann account planning community.

The goal of this McCann A-Team according to a statement from CEO Brien is to “ensure the effectiveness of the marketing funds invested by our clients demands a consistency of strategic planning approaches, as well as standards of excellence in everything we do.”
