McCann Worldgroup today announced the appointment of Sarah Watson as global strategy director, the latest in a flurry of agency executive hires, following on the heels of Arnold’s appointment of a new head of strategy this Monday and news of Commonwealth//McCann’s addition of new EVP Jonathan Disegi just yesterday.

Watson arrives from TBWA\Chiat\Day, where she has served as group planning director for six years, working on the Kraft and Pernod-Ricard brands. Prior to TBWA\Chiat\Day, she served two-year stints as planning director at Ogilvy and then Anomaly.

McCann Worldgroup also announced the promotions of Harjot Singh to regional strategy director for Europe and Craig Bagno to regional strategy director for North America. Singh and Bagno will take on these roles in addition to their current global strategy roles on the General Mills and Coca-Cola accounts. Singh will work alongside Watson on McCann’s General Mills account, which he has worked on since joining the agency in 2011. He will move from New York to London at the end of the month to take on his new role as regional strategy director for Europe.
