Maurice Lévy Lists Champs Elysées Office on Airbnb in Final Year-End Address

By Erik Oster

Maurice Lévy will announce his successor in February as he steps down from his role as Publicis CEO — thereby making this year-end address his last as biggest cheese at the holding company.

To mark the occasion, Lévy is including an unusual offering: his Champs Elysées office, which he’s listing on Airbnb via a sweepstakes. That’s right: you could win a “Night At The top of the ad world” for two from February 4-5, 2017.

Before the conclusion of the video introduces the sweepstakes, Lévy delivers the kind of year-end address we’ve come to expect, addressing account wins and losses and Publicis’ overall performance for the year. While this is going on, however, a crew appears to be packing up Lévy’s office. The Publicis CEO has not shied away from joking about his retirement in the past, at one point suggesting he may stay on as the doorman. At one point he unpacks a candy dish that’s been boxed away and replaces it on his desk. There’s also an “I’m The Boss” mug that only Lévy appears to be able to lift.

In addition to a stay at the Publicis CEO’s corner office, once used by General Eisenhower, the package also includes a private chauffeur, professional bodyguard, photographer and personal assistant.

The day starts with a breakfast on the rooftop terrace of the Publicis building, followed by a crash-course in leadership, lunch in the Publicis private dining room, a private screening in Publicis’ movie theater, a meditation session and dinner at L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, a Michelin-star rated restaurant within the building. The winning entrant won’t have to sleep in the office either, and will rather be driven by chauffeur to a nearby apartment.

No word on whether the package will include any surprise appearances by veteran porn stars.
