Three CP+B executives made news in March 2012 when they split from the agency to start their own shop, Made Movement.

Today we learned that another longtime Crispin exec has become Made’s newest partner.

Kate Higgins, who most recently served as VP/Account Director at CP+B leading the Hotels.com account (she previously ran Old Navy and the GAP), officially joins Made Movement today as partner/Chief Client Officer.

During her six-plus years with CP+B, she worked with additional Made partners Graham Furlong (CSO) and Scott Prindle (CDO) on Windows and other accounts.

Today CCO Dave Schiff told us:

“One of the reasons for our early success was the fact that we had a true leader in each discipline.

The one place where we didn’t have that piece of the puzzle was in account services, so [hiring Higgins] was an opportunity for us to get better as an agency by bringing in someone who would not just check boxes every day but provide vision combined with an understanding of strategy and creative.”

From Higgins:

“I love CP+B, but I’m excited about the chance to be a partner and to help grow and shape this place. We always joke that at some point you either own your own shop or become a client, and I like the creative process too much” to turn the opportunity down.
