Kobe and Lebron Return to Help Solve a Mystery

By Kiran Aditham

With the NBA season in full swing, W+K Portland has launched the next phase of its Nike “MVP” campaign featuring puppet versions of arguably the league’s two biggest stars: LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.

The ad above dubbed “Mystery of the Missing VII” follows the chatty puppets who are joined by their even chattier (see: annoying) sidekick Lil Dez and a detective who’s trying to find the whereabouts of LeBron’s missing Air Max VII kicks. It’s part one of two so you’ll just have to sit and wait in anticipation for the next episode. The spot below meanwhile, was the kickoff ad for MVP “Season 2”. Credits for “Missing” are after the jump.
