In late May of this year, JWT made some changes to their creative department and brought in six senior level people. Among them was Tom Christmann, who arrived from a beleaguered Cliff Freeman. But to make room for Christmann and the other five, JWT had to let some folks go — many of whom, we’re told, were on formed ECD Kash Sree’s team. Soon after, Sree gave notice and ever since has been working on a freelance basis.
Today, Pereira & O’Dell announced that they’ve picked up Sree, who comes on as an ECD. P&O, you’ll recall, was named AdAge’s “Small Agency of the Year” for the Western region in the pub’s first annual Small Agency of the Year Awards.
Sree will report directly to CCO PJ Pereira. He will work out of the New York office. At JWT he handled Axe, British Airways, DeBeers, Kleenex, Nike, Nintendo, Purell, Scott Toilet Tissues, Sunsilk Haircare, Vaseline and Visine.
