Karsh & Hagan Says “Thanks But No Thanks” To Omnicom

By SuperSpy

Karsh & Hagan has said goodbye to Omnicom and the TBWA network. Talk about a disruption… The Colorado shop is now owned by local and past employees. The purchasing price is (sadly) unknown.

Pocky L. Marranzino (pictured above) is now CEO and in the past, he was President of the agency for 27 year. Keith Roberts, formerly with Karsh & Hagan for 20 years will be CFO and Vice President of Finance. Kathy Hagan, daughter of retired Co-Founder Thomas P. Hagan, will tackle new business responsibilities and serve as Co-President.

The shop had a not to shabby 2008 taking home American Crew’s salon division, as well as TD Ameritrade’s institutional services division and 2008 agency billings were $35 million. “Strategically it was the right time to move away from Omnicom. And we had the right people to take the new organization forward,” said Marranzino.

This is kind of cool, no?
