Julius Dunn Lands at 4A’s

By Kiran Aditham

Remember Julius Dunn, the founding director of the Adversity program who was perhaps unceremoniously let go by the One Club last year? Well, we’re happy to report that he’s back in the mix and headed to the 4A’s to serve as industry liaison to the High School for Innovation in Advertising and Media (IAM), which we’re told is the first public high school dedicated to advertising, design and media.

Dunn, who initially moved to New York to run Adversity–which One Club also cut ties with due to “financial reasons”–will remain in the Big Apple, work as part of 4A’s Diversity & Inclusion and Talent Development team and report to its SVP, Singleton Beato. In his new post, Dunn will be tasked with developing and instituting a curriculum that will eventually help students become competitive candidates in advertising and media. He replaces Joseph Carlucci, who recently retired.
