Jay-Z Promotes ‘The Hits’ via Picturesque Site

By Michael Musco

The Hova, Jay-Z, Jigga, whatever you call him, has launched a rather contemporary site, created by AgencyNet, that combines his legendary music skills with high-tech social media all in order to promote his new compilation, The Hits Collection Volume 1. The site features iconic photography and video of New York City all done in black & white and takes the viewer on a journey through the rapper’s career, from 1989 to his 2010 Tony Award for the Broadway musical, Fela!.

The best part of it all? You can tweet about the hell out of everything on the site, it’s going to be tweet pandemonium so start your engines tweeters and get warmed up. It’s really hard to express it all in words; you have to check out the website to appreciate it. Even if you despise rap music, just mute it and enjoy the pretty pictures.
