Integrated AD Gets ‘Badass’ Bump from Bogusky. Why?

By Kiran Aditham

When he’s not busy riding bikes and saving the world in his post-advertising career, Alex Bogusky has been busy blogging and tweeting, and in the process, plugging the prowess of creatives we haven’t really heard of. A few different tipsters have been pinging us wondering what’s the deal with Chris Cavalieri, whose website touts him as an integrated AD. According to his LinkedIn, Cavalieri’s a “music anthropologist” who runs a site called DuckDuckGeese.com and is also currently an integrated art director at The Blind Society.

We reached out to Cavalieri, and as we figured, there’s no unholy alliance between him and Bogusky nor was the latter even a close friend just trying to hook another friend up with a Twitter nod. Cavalieri tells us, “We talk from time to time randomly through email. I’ve never met him, and yes I asked him if he would post something on his twitter about me, I just wanted to see what sort of reaction it would cause having a big name ad guy hyping me up, I kinda wish I had updated my portfolio I didn’t really think he would mention my name. ”
