HUGE Acquires Portland’s King/Coyle

By Kiran Aditham

Fresh off of hiring Chris Hayes as global managing director, Brooklyn-based, IPG-owned HUGE has set its sights on Portland, Oregon as the agency has acquired local digital creative studio, King/Coyle. As a result, a new “design innovation lab” called Huge/KingCoyle has been formed and will continue to operate in the great Northwest.

King/Coyle itself was formed by writer/designer/CD Duane King and CD/designer/interaction developer Ian Coyle, who say in a joint statement, “Creating a design innovation lab with a proven industry leader like Huge is an exciting honor. Together, we believe we can help shape the future of digital design.” We’ve been told that Huge/KingCoyle, which as of now just counts King and Coyle as staff, will begin accepting select clients this summer.
