It’s hard not to chuckle at this bulging fixture from Colenso BBDO and RocketSigns to promote HBO show Hung‘s New Zealand debut on TV One.
In an interview with ProPrint, Colenso BBDO account exec Virginia Frankovich says the reaction to the 6-meter x 3-meter billboard has been “extremely positive.” She adds matter-of-factly, “I guess the fact that it’s a gigantic penis in the middle of Auckland CBD is pretty unique. On top of this, the fact that it’s advertising a show on TV One which is generally associated with more traditional programming makes this campaign even more special.”
