HBO Consolidates Media to PHD

AgencySpy has learned that HBO has consolidated their media buying business to PHD. The entertainment company’s engagement agency, Deep Focus, will continue to provide media work through 2009, says CEO Ian Schafer, but after that the business will be handed over to PHD.

Deep Focus will retain the creative work they’ve been doing, as well, Schafer confirms. He syas there’s a lot going on, and staff working on the HBO account will be transitioned to other clients.

The agency has worked for HBO for the last six years.
