Guy Called ‘Bones’ Latest to Defect from TBWA LA

By Kiran Aditham

Here we go, again. TBWA\CHIAT\DAY LA has lost another member of its creative team, namely Kenneth Bones. While not quite on the senior creative level, Bones spent the last five years at the agency, first serving as a senior interactive designer who was a key member of the digital production team that built the Pepsi and Gatorade sites before moving on to serve as AD on the Nissan account.

From what sources tell us, Bones, who also helped launch Nissan Leaf at TBWA\Chiat\Day LA, was a bit stifled at his gig since “TBWA is mostly a traditional shop (don’t let the ‘integration’ buzzword fool you).” Hence, he is hitting the freelance circuit to create and develop “cool interactive experiences, not one-off print and banner ads.” According to tipsters, Bones is a humble bloke, hence why he was unsure if his departure merited a post when we contacted him. But at this point, it’s just us keeping score, people.
