Graphic Designer Tries to Tweet His Way into 72andSunny

Say you’re a designer looking for a gig at your dream agency. How do you solicit them in an interesting way?

For Simon Blockley, this meant hitting up Twitter and for seven consecutive days tweeting designs takes at the LA-based shop. Blockley decided that each day of the week required a new twist on the 72andSunny’s “sun” logo, with his social media chronicles documented on his website and his Twitter feed. While it looked like he was able to chat with some of 72andSunny’s employees, and look at his LinkedIn page would suggest he’s still working freelance.
