The New York Times reported today about the latest step in the Google/Yahoo ad-search deal. The two Web giants are holding back on starting their highly-anticipated project, which will place Google ads with some Yahoo search results.
The stall is meant to allow the Justice Department to do a cavity search, and make sure there aren’t any balloons filled with the powdery white substance known as anti-trust.
Skeptics of the deal say it is or should already be dead, because the next biggest search engine after Google and Yahoo only has 4 percent market share — suggesting that not only is the deal’s cavity filled with anti-trust balloons, but so are its stomach, intestines, mouth and ears. Can you say overdose?
