Goodness Mfg. GM Heads to Social-Focused Shop

By Kiran Aditham

After serving as SVP/GM at Hollywood-based Goodness Mfg. for just over a year, Tom Walker has moved on to EQAL, a social entertainment startup founded by the creators of lonelygirl15, etc., to take on the role of VP, interactive design.

Walker had previously been an SVP at Trailer Park Studios, which merged with Goodness at the start of 2010 if you recall. Prior to that, he was executive director for nearly two years at Firstborn’s now-defunct L.A. operation and once served as director of interactive at Venables Bell & Partners.

Update: According to sources familiar with the matter, Walker spent the past year on the account side and Brian Rekasis has actually filled the role of Goodness Mfg.’s proper general manager since inception.

Update 2: Walker himself sent us a note to clarify things from his end. He says, “Brian Rekasis was GM BEFORE Goodness merged with Trailer Park,  After that acquisition I took on that role (working closely with Rick Eiserman the CEO), as well as senior level involvement on certain accounts and Brian focused on New Biz and building out the Video Games business.”
