G2 has confirmed that May 14 will be Marty Laiks’ last day at the agency. Laiks, who has served as MD of G2 D&D’s Health & Wellness Group in the past and was most recently executive director, strategic planning, for the relationship marketing practice of G2 USA, was let go after six years. Before joining G2, Laiks spent two years as director of marketing strategy at Digitas’ Modem Media. The agency tells us that it’s in the process of recruiting someone to oversee strategy for the relationship marketing practice.
