G2 Alum DePaolis Takes EVP/CD Post at Draftfcb Healthcare

Draftfcb announced today that Diane DePaolis has joined the Draftfcb Healthcare club as EVP, creative director/branding. DePaolis’s role has been created for Draft to further the scope of the agency’s creative offering with a dedicated branding center of excellence according to the release.

In a statement, Draftfcb NY CEO Dana Maiman, says, “Integrating Diane with the team we will be building around her creates a unique capability, allowing us to anticipate and respond early and effectively to clients needs. We have been doing branding forever so we did not set up a ‘new’ division, as the goal here is to utilize, integrate and synergize the vast knowledge and depth of experience found throughout the Draftfcb Healthcare agencies.”

DePaolis had previous stints including SVP, creative director at Y Brand in New York where she handled global branding programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and consumer clients such as Merck, Allegan, Baxter, Takeda, The Gap and Johnson & Johnson. Prior to that, she was a partner at G2 Worldwide, where she directed the branding design strategy, development and implementation for clients such as Ramada Worldwide, McAfee Security, Underwriters Laboratories and Kmart.
