-The Effie Awards has announced its 2014 call for entries via an effort created by Atlanta-based agency, 22squared. link

-Minus review, TDA_Boulder has been named the first-ever agency of record for Charles Medley Distillers Kentucky, which has resurrected Medley Bros. brand of Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. An undisclosed budget will go to product design, online promotion and B2B collateral. Expect first work to break in fall.

-Creative agency Nomads has hired Dare alum Jon Haywood as its new head of strategy. In turn, Haywood will lead the day-to-day running of Nomads Amsterdam’s planning operations.

-Creative agency Morsekode has moved from Bloomington to downtown Minneapolis (image above).

-Horizon Media has launched its new branded content division, Bungalow Horizon, which marks a joint venture between Horizon Media and Bungalow Media + Entertainment. The new entity will develop, produce, and distribute branded content across all media platforms including television, film, live events, and digital media.
