Former McCann SF Head of Production Goes to Rehab

Before your ears start perking up too much, it’s not as scandalous as you’d think, but Vince Genovese is in fact going to Rehab–the content creation/production company, not Lindsay Lohan’s home away from home.

Genovese, who joins Rehab as partner/director of production, arrives from McCann SF, where he director of broadcast production for the last two years at both the SF and LA offices. During his time at McCann, which he joined in 2006, Genovese played a role as a producer of spots for the agency’s grandiose Halo 3 campaign–including “Hunted,” “Enemy Weapon” and “John 116 Memorial”–that ultimately picked up both the Titanium Grand Prix and One Show Gold Pencil in 2007.

Before McCann, Genovese served as a senior producer at the SF offices of Y&R, TBWA\Chiat\Day and FCB and also freelanced for the likes of Goodby and Venables Bell & Partners. As for Rehab, the prodco has worked with many of the aforementioned agencies as well as Pereira & O’Dell, which recently won a One Show Interactive Gold Pencil for the Lego “Miniman” web series. The shop also counts clients including Banana Republic, Hyundai, Doritos and LG.
