Former Child Actor-Turned-Ad Guy Launches Ad Resource Hub

By Michael Musco

Tired of juggling sites for your creative needs? Constantly searching Craigslist for talent? Do you go to a website for a font, then one for a background and another for a stock photo? Well, there’s a new website out there for creatives that that looks like it essentially serves as one big aggregate of ad resources (well, we guess that was already hinted at in the tagline).

Scotch & Ginger seems to cover all the bases, with separate categories set aside for items like color, textures, type and tutorials as well as a visual talent gallery featuring illustrators, photographers, interactive types, TV/film people, etc. The site is the brainchild/side project of one Travis Robertson, an AD/CW who currently works at Arnold Worldwide in Boston but began working as a child actor in his pre-teens (working alongside Christina Ricci and Spielberg), then ventured into an obvious second career as a professional muay thai fighter before studying Art Direction and Design at The Portfolio Center.
