Fetrow Heading to Olson

It looks like Olson CCO Dennis Ryan is bolstering his creative department in Minneapolis as said agency will soon be welcoming Mike Fetrow to the fold. Sources familiar with the matter confirm that Fetrow, former “Sexiest Man in Advertising” candidate and current art director at Fallon, will be joining Olson as executive creative director. Fetrow has spent the last two years at Fallon, serving as GCD on Cadillac and Buffalo Wild Wings among other accounts.

Prior to his second tour of duty at Fallon, Fetrow made his way around the Minneapolis-St. Paul ad scene, spending four years as ECD at Colle+McVoy and a year-and-a-half as VP/creative director at space150. In addition to Fetrow, Olson will also be adding Cuc Oetting to its creative department. We’ve been told by sources that Oetting will joining the agency as a CD, working on digital efforts for Target, which is not unfamiliar territory for her as she’s had a stint as an in-house creative for the brand. Currently, she’s serving as director of retail design/strategy for Periscope. From what we’ve been told, there hasn’t been an official start date set for the new creatives.
