FCB West Adds 2 New Creatives

FCB West announced the appointments of Carla Madden as creative director/copywriter, and Christina De La Cruz as associate creative director/design lead.

Madden joins FCB West following nearly four years as a freelance creative director and copywriter, working with agencies including Tribal DDB Amsterdam, Grey, Pereira & O’Dell and Mekanism, for clients such as Apple, Google, HarperCollins, Toyota and Oakley. Prior to that, she spent nearly a year with DOJO as a creative director working on accounts including Playstation, Logitech, WhatsApp and Gallo.

That followed another period freelancing, as an associate creative director working with various agencies, for clients such as Crate&Barrel, Pinkberry and Svedka. Before going freelance she spent a year serving as associate creative director with CP+B, working on such accounts as Under Armour, MetLife, vitaminwater and Alzheimer’s Association. De La Cruz arrives at the agency following nearly two years as a freelance senior digital art director in New York and Los Angeles. That followed around a year in that position for D’Addario & Company in Brooklyn.

Her diverse and varied background includes stints as a design director with Refinery29 and Charlie, senior art director positions with Wondros and Laird & Partners, interactive art director positions with Ogilvy & Mather and 180 Amsterdam and art director positions with W+K, JWT and Publicis.
