Fabiano Takes Over as Grey NY Chief Talent Officer

By Kiran Aditham

A month after Natalia Schultz resigned as chief talent officer at Grey NY, the agency has found her replacement in Lisa Fabiano, who you might remember held the same title at Enfatico and Euro RSCG Worldwide prior to that. For the last year, Fabiano has served as general manager at New York marketing firm, HNW. Check out Grey NY president/CCO Tor Myhren and managing director Michael Houston’s message to staff regarding Fabiano’s arrival verbatim after the jump.

We are delighted to announce that Lisa Fabiano has joined Grey New York as Chief Talent Officer.  She will serve on the New York Operating Committee and report directly to Michael Houston, Managing Director.

This is a real coup for Grey because Lisa is considered to be one of the most accomplished and successful human resource leaders in the advertising industry – known for her creativity, savvy and track record for hiring and developing top talent.

Lisa brings a wealth of experience in all the expected areas : talent acquisition and retention, training and professional development, performance management, diversity, benefits and compensation and culture-building.

Importantly, she is an ad person to the core having run global accounts and worked on business such as MCI, Danone, Philips, Intel, Reckitt-Benckiser, Godiva, Perry Ellis and Nestle to name a few as well as contributing to a book, “Leap : A Revolution in Creative Business Strategy.”

Lisa has done it all from big, global agencies to creative boutiques.  She served as the Chief Talent Officer of Enfatico, the WPP global agency start-up established for Dell Computers, where she earned her stripes in the digital space.  Prior to that, she spent 17 years at EuroRSCG Worldwide, rising to the post of Chief Talent Officer, where she built a global human resource practice and partnered with then CEO, Jim Heekin, to implement a global strategy that led to explosive growth.

Along the way, she has been the Managing Director of Margeotes, Fertitta, Powell, an MDC-owned creative boutique, and a founding employee of Messner Vetere Berger McNamme Schmetterer, a famous New York creative hotshop, which became part of EuroRSCG.

Lisa is a pro and a huge addition to our New York management team.  Her warmth and wit will win you over and make her a pleasure to work with.

Please give her a warm welcome and your full support as we build the best team in the industry to guide our growth.

Cheers,

Tor and Michael
