ECD Carl Rogers Leaves Havas

Carl RogersToday we confirmed that Executive Creative Director Carl Rogers is no longer with Havas.

We have very little in the way of details at the moment, so we’ll recap:

Havas Discovery President Paul Marobella recruited Rogers in March of last year to run the newly-formed “digital/analytics/CRM arm” in Baltimore. He was quickly promoted to ECD at Havas Chicago and worked “across offices” from New York to Baltimore.

In his own words, he “directly managed in excess of 16 accounts and 75 creatives across 3 agencies” and helped win the DISH, Dos Equis and other accounts.

He also blogged.

The move to Havas came almost exactly one year after Rogers left his previous in-house CD position at Grey New York to return to his native UK, where he did freelance work for both Grey and Mullen and led the Grey Goose account.

Prior to joining Grey, Rogers worked as Creative Director at Critical Mass Europe after doing copywriting work for a couple of agencies (one of which later became StrawberryFrog).

While it’s not yet clear where Rogers is headed, he will undoubtedly play a large creative role wherever he lands. Updates as we receive them.
