Draftfcb Chicago Senior AD Dead at 36

Well, there goes our Draftfcb snark. Sad news to report out of Chi-town as senior art director Scott Poremsky has passed away at the young age of 36. Details aren’t being disclosed, but the Draft camp tells us it was “unexpected.” Poremsky, who had a fiancee and an eight-year old son, Chaz, had spent four years at Draft Chicago and worked on accounts including Kellogg’s and Kmart. In a statement to the Detroit Free Press, Detroit Media Partnership CEO Susie Elwood fondly recalls the gaming/Lego enthusiast, saying, “He was gentle, friendly and a soft-spoken man who had a huge heart and was loved by many people. Scott was an amazing father and even though separated by distance, he did all he could to be a big part of Chaz’s life.” Poremsky and his fiancee were expected to be married in November of this year.
