DiLorenzo Calls it Quits at BBDO

By Kiran Aditham

Hmm, just what is going on this week with all the agency departures? *Shakes head* Anyhow, yes it’s true that Brian DiLorenzo, who joined BBDO NY in 2006 and spent the last four years as EVP, director of integrated production, is leaving the agency. From what we hear, the parting was amicable (a source tells us that “we love him here”) and he’s headed to McCann (we’ll get something for you on this in the short run). During his time at BBDO, DiLorenzo worked on campaigns including HBO’s “Imagine” and various True Blood efforts. Here’s a note from BBDO’s David Lubars for you:

“I’m sad to report that Brian DiLorenzo will be leaving us.  Brian has made countless contributions to the agency, notably his work on the award-winning HBO and Starbucks integrated projects.  He’s a fantastic professional, as well as a good soul.  I’ll miss him and I know you will all join me in wishing him the very best.  His last day will be the 16th.

While Brian is a loss, what’s comforting is the fact that our production capability is fantastic; we are deep in brilliant people operating at every level.  This excellence gives us the luxury of being able to take the right amount of time to find Brian’s replacement.

Once again, we’re grateful for all you did at BBDO, Brian, thanks for the great contribution.

David”
