DigitasLBi Names Doug Schiff ECD Leading Its Boston and Detroit Offices

In important news from the past couple of weeks that we somehow managed to miss, Digitas LBi appointed Doug Schiff as executive creative director for both its Boston and Detroit offices, working with clients such as Dunkin’ Donuts, General Motors and Goodyear.

Schiff will be based out of the agency’s Boston office and will report to Digital LBi North America CCO Ronald Ng.

Schiff joins the agency from OgilyOne China, where he oversaw the agency’s Beijing and Shanghai offices as national executive creative director. During his nearly four years in the role, he has worked with clients including  IBM, Nestle, Volkswagen, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz and Acura. Prior to that he served as executive creative director for Ogilvy Beijing, helping the agency establish itself as a powerhouse in the region. Schiff began his career at Leo Burnett Chicago, before moving overseas to joining Dentsu Tokyo and then JWT Singapore. He returned stateside to join FCB San Francisco, working with brands including Levi’s and Kikkoman. Among the notable campaigns he has led throughout his career are  Volkswagen’s Phaeton “Single Masterpiece” and “Bug Configurator” campaigns, Volkswagen’s “Eyes on the Road” and Levi’s “Time Will Tell” campaign.
