CP+B Nabs Paddy Power

By Kiran Aditham

If you don’t know what Paddy Power is, it’s a U.K.-based online betting/e-gaming entity (get your cricket and rugby bets in now!) that has now found a new AOR in Crispin Porter + Bogusky, which had both its Boulder Los Angeles and London bases working together to win the £7m biz. According to sources familiar with the matter, CP+B beat out DDB UK in an earlier round before taking on the likes of Mother and CHI & Partners. Hey, Bud Light may not have worked out, but the Crispin camp seems to at least have made quite an impression on the Paddy people. In a statement, the company’s head of brand Adam Perrin says, “We were blown away by the freshness of CP+B’s approach and their use of resource across the United States and Europe. We’re really excited about producing new and invigorating creative work with them to continue the Paddy Power success story.”

The Paddy Power account was previously handled by Big Al’s Creative Emporium.
